Pink Toast Ink // Heat Up Your Business
Charlotte Event Branding – Mitchell’s Fund

Mitchell’s Fund supports the social needs — such as utility bills and mortgage payments — of families with children facing the crisis of life threatening pediatric illnesses. The heart of Mitchell’s Fund is pediatric cancer, but the Fund also supports families grappling with mental health illness, sickle-cell anemia, extreme prematurity, chronic diseases and more.

That being said, we were incredibly honored to have the opportunity to create a full spectrum revamp for such an established Charlotte Non-Profit Organization.

Charlotte Even Branding - Mitchell's Fund

Our main focus of this revamp is centered around their event luncheon called, Prescription of Hope.  The Save the Date inspo came from a piece of Mitchell’s artwork giving the invitations that perfect personal touch.  We just love the colorful and playful feel his artwork added to the aesthetic we were creating.

We’ve really enjoyed working with Mitchell’s Fund and are excited to continue our relationship with the organization as they grow and make a difference in the Charlotte area.

Charlotte Brand DNA: Shop Murph

Shop Murph owner Samantha Busch reached out to the Pink Toast team when she began planning for her online boutique in 2016.  Samantha had dreamed of owning her own boutique for as long as she could remember and we are honored she chose our team to make that happen for a full launch in January 2017!

Concept: Under $100 online boutique inspired by Busch’s love for fun and feminine fashion, inspired by her grandmother Murph. .

Key Points

  • Hot Pink + Glossy Black
  • Girly + Classy
  • Affordable and Atainable Fashion

Branding DNA:

We are in love where the logo and font exploration process took our team of designers. The hot pink script is a perfect juxtaposition to the bold black lines in the secondary logo variations.

A New Year, a New Toast

Refresh, Reboot and Go Go Go!

If you follow us on Instagram, you may have heard the news. If not, you absolutely need to be following us and here’s what you missed. Pink Toast Ink became Pink Toast, Powered by Girl Tribe, toastie got a makeover (more on that to come) and most importantly – (drumroll please) Sarah Baucom is now my 50/50, my work wife, my confidante and my business partner in Pink Toast.

Bringing Sarah on has been in the works for years but the timing never quite felt right. We work incredibly well together and on top of that – her retail, styling, SEO and e-commerce knowledge are undeniably strong and let’s be honest together we really make the best team. After all the success of Girl Tribe Pop Up and Pink Social last year (where we are already business partners), Sarah and I had long discussions and decided that starting Jan 1 she would become my business parnter in Pink Toast – again leading by what feels right and with intuition. Sarah has been in the office full-time and things have never run smoother. Our team has never been stronger and our mission has never been clearer than now. So we are doing it all, and loving every minute of it.

So what is the future for Pink Toast?  We are another year stronger and wiser and are consistently delivering the very best designs with excellent customer service. So, let’s just say the future is as bright as the sun.

Here is what we have done lately:

  • Met with some of the most lovely couples and designed insane stationery for weddings
  • Branding for some amazing local and national companies
  • E-Commerce strategy and design for so many of your favorite Charlotte businesses and influencers
  • Website refreshes and other special projects
  • Hired the best team in town

And we cannot wait to share all of these updates with you!

We are so lucky to be inspired daily by our team and by our clients. I know it looks like fun to watch us on Social Media, but believe me – the energy in our Dilworth studio right now is infectious. I come to work everyday with a renewed sense of energy and inspiration.  Working with the small businesses in this community is awe-inspiring. As a Charlotte native, I don’t remember this spirit of entrepreneurship as strong as it is today. And we are the luckiest to work with these businesses everyday and watch them grow and find success. I thank you all for putting faith in Pink Toast over the past six years, and thankful for our long-running relationships that have grown from our projects over the years.

2016 was a  roller coaster  and right now, my heart has never been more open to the possibilities that lie ahead.

So please join me in officially welcoming Sarah to the toast team.

And bring on the new projects! Weddings, branding, e-commerce…we are ready for you! Email us at hello@pink-toast.com for an appointment to talk about how we can reboot your business, too!

Talk soon~
